Hello everyone, we hope your enjoying your Golf at Marsden.
Two Messages for you all, please read.
An important message from the greens team, we are entering the winter period so to protect the course you are required to use “Fairway” mats from Saturday 1st November 2025,the greens will still be used as for as long as we can but if the weather becomes a problem we will move to temporary greens.
The mats are to be used only on the fairways from the above date so that we can still have counting handicap competitions, but later may include any mown area ie first cut grass not deep rough. Notices will advise you of any change or a global email.
Please be aware Saturday 25th October 2025 the “Tree Society” are thinning back trees on the 2nd Hole above the green please give a loud shout of “FORE” to warn them of any incoming errant balls. And if possible, warn them that you are about to take your shot.
