Challenging Conditions Fail to Hinder High Scoring
Round one of the winter league commenced with participants facing blustery winds and persistent wet weather. Many anticipated that these testing conditions would impact scoring, but the players proved otherwise as an array of impressive scores were posted throughout the day.
Top Performers
The standout performance of the day came from Geoff Russ and Paul Wilson, who triumphed with an excellent score of 45 points.
Hot on their heels in second place, following a card playoff, were the pair of Dan Brizell and Hendo Muller, finishing with a strong 43 points.
Securing third place were the well-matched duo of John Aspinall and Gary Pickford,

This coming Saturday, we’ll be hosting the presentation shotgun competition, kicking off promptly at 09:00am. Once all players are back in the clubhouse and have a drink in hand, we’ll move straight into the presentation of trophies from this summer season. The awards ceremony will celebrate the winners of the majors, the knockouts, the winter league, and the Order of Merit.
We hope to see a strong turnout to applaud the achievements of this season’s champions. Any winners who will not be there could you please let me know.
Cheers
