2025 R&A Coronation Foursomes
Andree Bloomfield & Neilma Jary Represent Gorleston at St Andrews
Following their win at Gorleston Golf Club in the R&A Coronation Foursomes with 43 points Neilma Jary and Andree Bloomfield qualified for the Area Final at Thetford Golf Club coming 1st with 49 points out of 51 Clubs participating.
Part of their prize from the R&A was entry into the Grand Final played over the Eden Course at St Andrews on the15th September. Travel to St Andrews and a 2 night hotel stay at The Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa as part of the Grand Final experience.
The Coronation Foursomes is organised by the R&A and is open to all members of affiliated golf clubs in Great Britain and Ireland who hold a current Handicap (WHS) Index of 40.0 or under.
In 2025 local qualifying competitions were organised by golf clubs, playing over 18 holes of handicap stableford foursomes. The best 100 scores then qualified for each Area Final held at 16 venues in July and August before the top 16 teams booked their trip to the home of golf for the Grand Final.
Although they were not the winners, Neilma and Andree felt very fortunate to have had such a wonderful experience.
