Presidents Day Results
Ryder Cup date movement info
Chaps,

Firstly, let me update you all on the Ryder Cup event. This has now been moved to the first weekend in October 4&5th. For newer members this is a massive fun weekend where team USA (Presidents team) takes on team Europe (Captains Team) in a mixture of Foursomes, 4BBB & singles on the Sunday. A 2 day event for any member, with a meal on the Saturday night (compulsory to stay for this). For more details on the event please speak to Mr Captain, Martin Wainman or myself. A great weekend for newer members to get to know the membership on a whole new level ha ha. If you are interested the board is outside the pro shop, pop your name down on either side, if you are a rookie, make sure you put your mobile number too.

Onto Presidents Day. Another lovely day for our shotgun event. Full quota taking to the field. With the President choosing a yellow ball team event for his format, it can also be called hot potato as nobody wants to lose the yellow ball. The top 3 all managed to keep the yellow ball and the winning team had some birdies with it.

Scooping victory with a score of 126pts is Ben Massey, Charlie Reynolds, Jack McCallum & Hendo Muller. Well in boys, team AM AM event next summer is the prize for this, I will sort accordingly with you.

2nd with 122pts is Geroge Botham, Paul Wilson, Ben Woolley & Geoff Russ.
3rd with 117pts went to Rob Surman, Geoff Marchant, Tom Hawkins & Matt Boxer.
