Winner of the Kirk Rosebowl Final for 2025 is Stuart Crookston!
Throughout qualifying almost 180 players had attempted to qualify for the Kirk Rosebowl final played on a course once again in excellent condition.
In keeping with those fantastic numbers the winner came down to a card play-off with Stuart Crookston edging out Stuart Loch. Both players with net 66. Third place and three shots further back was Matthew Smith.

Stuart Crookston 66 30 18 11 1st
Stuart Loch 66 31 18 11 2nd
Stuart C going out in 43 and returning in 38 for a gross 81 net 66. Helped with birdies at holes 2 & 3. A solid six pars on the back nine getting the job done.
Stuart L had a brilliant round which in many other circumstances would take the win. Birdies at 2, 4, 9, 12, 13, 14 & 18 in a fantastic round of gross 67 for net 66.
Matthew was out in 39 before a fine second nine saw him home in 34 for gross 73 net 69, Birdies at 4, 13, 16 & 17 on the card.
No surprise but best gross score of the night also went to Stuart Loch.
Stuart C wins £30.50 for first place, Stuart L picked up £15.25 and Matthew wins £9.15. Stuart L wins a further £6.10 for best gross.

Only two players birdied the 15th hole, Adrian Bowman and Jack Hogarth. Players collecting £24.40 in the “Two’s” sweep.
A very special mention to Kevin Curran who went one better with a superb ace at the 5th. Well done Kevin!
