Great scoring on a glorious day
On Friday 15th August, St Audrys Golf Club hosted the Marie Hunt Charity Day.
Organised by Ladies member Lizzie Blowers in aid of the Dora Brown Charity in Ipswich, it raised in the region of £2,500! Great work Lizzie!
On a scorching day, the halfway house was very popular, and the hole to hole buggy refreshment cart driven by Lizzie and her daughter Izzy, was vital in keeping everyone hydrated to the end.
The Texas Scramble scoring was impressive, with the winners being decided on countback. With a nett 42, the winners were Matt Blowers, Dan Blowers, Simon Ager and Mark Higgs (pictured with Lizzie on the 1st tee before heading out.
