Ladies Looking for Promotion
Another home win
Yesterday (Friday 15th August), our Ladies team started the first of their remaining 3 home games in the final straight to seek a first or second place in League Division 2.
The game was a hard fought victory against Perranporth with 6/5 win for Charlotte Luke, a 2 Up win from Debbie Sedgeman followed by a 1 Up victory by Ali Gessey.
Kim Pellow forced a draw on the 18th and both Lis Jenkin and Mandy Dennison were narrowly beaten. However , Donna Gibson- the 7th Lady came in with a 2/1 victory clinching the Team Win 4 1/2 - 2 1/2.
Having only gained promotion this year from Division 3 into Division 2 , we are trying to march ahead to gain more points over the next 2 weeks. More victories at home means seeking promotion in one year into Division 1!!!!
