On Sunday 28th July out Ladies Weston Bowl Team of five ladies travelled the 1.5 hours to Flempton Golf Club to play our fifth and penultimate match of the season.
Flempton is a charming and testing course which was established in 1895 and was in super summer condition, We received a warm welcome and the games were closely contested with Flempton winning by 3.5 to 1.5, a good result for an away match played in a singles matchplay format. I understand that they were played in the best sporting spirits

Our sixth and final match of the season is at home to Brett Vale and is scheduled for the first game to tee off at 12 noon on Saturday 9 August 2025. Supporters are welcome.

Two of the team Marie and Paula had the energy after the match to play 9 holes at Gorleston. Astoundingly our first out on the day, Marie Norman, achieved a phenomenal Hole in One, on our ninth hole!!! Marie this is just a brilliant feat and you are truly a super star!
