On Friday 1st August, nine past Ladies Captain’s played in a stableford cup match. Thankfully it stayed dry albeit windy once again. The course played wonderfully, thank you to all the greenkeeping staff for their continued efforts.

We had 18 ladies sit down to a wonderful lunch which was extremely appreciated by all. Many thanks to the catering and bar staff. It was fabulous to see so many ladies reminiscing and how wonderful to have 52 years of history sat round the table. This tradition is very special.

There was great golf played, and the results were –
1st Jan Parsons with 42 points and winner of the Maggie Higgins Captains Trophy which was introduced in 1972.
2nd Anne Amos with 36 points.
3rd Jackie Walsh with 34 points.

A wonderful day was had by all, and we all look forward to getting together again next year.
