Professionals Day 2025

Another successful Professionals day!
Last Saturday, 43 teams of members and guests enjoyed playing East Devon in support of our Club Professional team in mostly fair conditions.
After booking in with Trevor, who delighted in taking entry fees etc, Ross, the honorary starter, sent us on our merry way down the 1st with some ribald comments!
Onwards to the half way house where Sally (ably assisted by Charlie Hall) refreshed us with pasty and drinks and the enticing offer of the chance to double our money if we could land (and stay) on the upper tier of the 10th! Most accepted the challenge, but as ever, there were only a few success stories
After the round Dani and the House team were as ever willing and able to refresh those who required additional sustenance !
The presentation was held after all play completed about 19.30. Trevor awarded the first place to the team of Neil and Paul Sear, Rory Adams and Jason Browring - with a score of 92 points (2 from 4 to count), all the more impressive as they are all pretty low handicappers
Full results for the top 5 teams plus nearest to pin are displayed on the clubhouse noticeboard
Trevor, thanked the club for supporting him on this annual fun day and also all the members who played and indeed those unable to attend on the day but showing support in the Pro shop all year.
