Jersey Golf Championship
Success for Quail and McMahon
This past weekend saw a fantastic display of golf during the Jersey Golf Championship, with strong performances from Royal Jersey Golf Club members. Remarkably, both the men's and ladies' finals featured four Royal Jersey players.
Sam Quails continued his impressive form, defeating Mathew Parkman in the men’s final, while Melissa McMahon, in her debut appearance, clinched victory in the ladies' final in a closely contested match against Anabelle Lucas-Villar, winning on the 19th hole.
It was wonderful to see so many members out supporting both finals. Sam and Melissa will now represent Jersey in the Channel Island Finals at La Moye Golf Club on 9th and 10th August. If you’re free, your support would be greatly appreciated—you're guaranteed to see some superb golf!
