Friday Roll-up 18th July
24 players in the Friday roll-up from a couple of weeks back, with some extremely good scoring.

Matt Jordan won with 44 points and a 4 shot handicap reduction - congratulations Matt
Second was Gary Dawson with 43 (obviously getting coaching from both his sons) and a 3 shot cut. Third was Stuart McLarty with 42 and 3 shot cut.
There were a further four players who received handicap reductions. Mark Carpenter has displaced Mark Jevons as leader in the hunt for the Max Mason Trophy, still at least another 6 weeks available for the chasing pack to overtake.
Next roll-up is this Friday coming - 1st August.
Sunday roll-up 20th July
On a warm day, we had 30 players out. Testing conditions pre-course shut down meant that scoring was tricky.

The winner was the ever-consistent Dave Bradley with 38 points, winning on count-back from Mark Sutton and Stewart Robertson. Tough school, the Sunday roll-up. A more forgiving process may have awarded a three-way tie…but congratulations to Dave, the deserved winner.
Sunday roll-up 27th July
In perfect conditions, we had 32 players braving the newly-tined greens.

The greens sure helped evening out the scoring, but there was no denying the popular winner, David Ford, with a stunning 42.
He was followed by Liesl Mills and Lesser-spotted Paul Marples, both with 41. Special mention to Steve Nabarro, who came fourth with 40 points off his very low handicap. Tough school.
That’s All Folks!
