A message from our chosen charity
Based in Stenhousemuir, Kidney Kids Scotland – a small charity making a big difference..
For over 25 years, we have supported children in Scotland living with kidney disease, urology conditions and renal failure. Funding essential equipment, from bladder scanners and portable vein finders to every paediatric haemodialysis machine in Scotland, improving care across the country. We’ve also helped pioneer new services, proving what’s possible with all pilot projects to date being successful and subsequently carried forward by the NHS.
But our mission goes far beyond hospitals. When a child is unwell, the whole family is affected. That’s why we offer emotional, social and financial support directly to the families when they need it most. We also fund family events and activities and proudly support the Scottish Children’s Renal Team at the British Transplant Games.
We believe that every child deserves the care as close to home as possible. That’s why we have helped set up Scotland’s first paediatric Home Haemodialysis Service… and locally, the renal outpatient clinic for children at Forth Valley Hospital.
All of this is only possible thanks to the donations we receive and we are extremely grateful to now have Glenbervie Golf Club, fundraising on our behalf in 2025. We will ensure that every penny raised will be used wisely and make a meaningful impact & look forward to meeting you all on the first tee!
