Andrew Marshall Returns to Sunningdale – This Time for the Seniors British Open
We’re proud to share that Andrew Marshall will be teeing it up this week in the next Legends Tour event – the Seniors British Open – being held at the iconic Sunningdale Golf Club.
For many of us at Dereham, this marks a special full-circle moment. Nearly 40 years ago, as a young professional at Dereham, I arranged a couple of trips for our juniors to experience some of the great courses – including a memorable day playing 36 holes, Wentworth in the morning and Sunningdale in the afternoon. One of those juniors was a young Andrew Marshall.
Since then, Andy has gone on to forge a remarkable career in golf, and he’s no stranger to Sunningdale, having played there many times over the years. But tomorrow marks a special return – now competing among legends of the game in one of senior golf’s most prestigious events.
