Men's Whitsun Results, Captain's Day, Upcoming Open Competitions
Men's Whitsun Cup Results
115 men played in the Whitsun Cup over the weekend. Congratulations to Bill Cronin for winning the competition with a nett 65. Aran Bennett came second with a nett 66, beating Billy Rayner on countback. Rob Wyatt and George Austin both had nett 67's. The full results are attached with today's latest news email.
The latest Hollymead Cup standings are also attached, along with the Len Hodge standings now that 6 qualifying events have been played. A reminder that the Len Hodge is awarded to the lowest scores for the best 6 our of the 10 qualifying medal rounds. If you haven't played all 6 rounds, you won't be showing on the standings until you have played at least 6. If you play more than 6 out of the 10 rounds, your best 6 scores will count. The following competitions are left that qualify for the Hollymead/Len Hodge:
Hardwick Bowl & Junior Challenge Cup - Len Hodge and Hollymead Qualifying
Rubens Cup - Len Hodge & Hollymead Qualifying
Crouch Cup - Hollymead Qualifying
Grayson Cup - Hollymead Qualifying
Autumn Tankard (each round individually) - Len Hodge and Hollymead Qualifying
Captain's Day - 2nd August
The poster advertising Ian Stoneham's Captain's Day is attached with today's latest news email. The table plan for the evening party is up on the notice board in the Spike Bar. You can now send tee booking request emails in to teetimes@bognorgolfclub.co.uk requesting the 1-hour slot that you would like to play within.

The following open competitions (that are open to both members and visitors) are live for entry on the Club V1 app. Some of them are nearing capacity so book soon to avoid missing out:
12th July - Purley Trophy - 36 Hole Scratch Open
19th July - Gilligan Mixed Foursomes - 36 Hole Open
26th July - Bognor Challenge Cup - 36 Hole Nett Open
27th July - Davis Bowl - 18 Hole Foursomes Stableford Open
27th July - Millbourn Cup - 18 Hole Fourball Better Ball Bogey Open
15th August - Pro-AM - 18 Hole Team Event
