Welsh Men's Seniors Closed Championship

Clyne Golf Club’s Neil Roderick proved unstoppable once again, successfully defending his crown at the Welsh Men’s Seniors Closed Championship this week with a stellar final-round score of 70 (-1) in extremely testing conditions.
Aberdovey Golf Club was proud to see strong representation at the event, with seven of our members teeing it up in the championship. Three players were placed in the top 60 and made it through to the final round cut — a great achievement.
A special congratulations goes to Nigel Chesters, who delivered a superb performance to finish third overall at +5. Nigel also added a great highlight to the tournament with a hole-in-one at the 9th hole. Also finishing high on the leaderboard was Lindsay Parry, who secured a commendable fifth place overall with a score of +10.

Competitors across the board were full of praise for the immaculate condition of our course — a credit to the hard work and dedication of our greenkeeping team.
