On Sunday 8 June Gorleston Golf Club hosted the second Super Six match of the 2025 season. Teams of six, from Bungay, Dunston, Halesworth and Rookery joined our team in a six hole Texas Scramble.
We achieved another fabulous win with 126 points and so equalising with Halesworth, also with a great score of 126.

That’s a great result from our young team which consisted of George Teece and Frankie Waller, Robin Greaney and Dottie Amos with Luca Waters and Oakley Page. All played really well, and represented our club superbly!
Luca and Oakley received the Skills for Life Medal. Well done boys!
Luca also achieved nearest the pin on the 5th with a superb drive!
Thanks to Stu for his assistance and support, as usual! It was great to have some of our more experienced juniors helping on the day. My thanks to Harrison and Addison.
We had a great turnout of supporters from all the clubs and an enjoyable presentation in the clubhouse.
Thanks to Duncan, we have a superb squad of twelve players, whose golf abilities are constantly improving.
