Captain's Day rules
There will be a single stableford in play so you will all have a card to fill in. Also there will be a yellow ball event, involving everyone on your tee time so there is also a team scorecard.
Rules: Two Stableford scores will be entered on each hole. However the player with the yellow ball (or substitute ball if lost) MUST have his score entered as one of the two scores on that hole.
Points scored with the yellow ball will be double. If yellow ball is lost, the rotation continues but only with single points.
Example 1: 1 On hole one, Player A scores 6 for 2, while the best other score is 6 for 1 the score will be 2x2 + 1 = 5.
Example 2: On hole one Player A scores no points but his partners both score 5 for 3, the score will be 0+3=3.
Example 3: On hole 2 the yellow ball is lost but now on hole 3 Player C gets 4 for 3 and the best of the others is 5 for 2. The score will be 3 (single points) + 2 = 5.
It is for each group to decide their own rotation as there will be advantages of some players having the yellow ball for certain holes.
Once started the rotation must be adhered to.
The order of the rotation of the yellow ball must be the order set out on the scorecard; with player A on the first hole (and also 4, 7, 10, 13 & 16), Player B at hole 2 (and also 5, 8, 11, 14 & 17) and Player C on hole 3 (and also 6, 9, 12, 15 & 18) and then rotated in the same order.
