It's in a REALLY big tent!
The whole event is weatherproofed because we have a really massive, and I mean massive, tent! A stalwart of the festival scene and a regular venue at Glastonbury Festival, the big tent means that come rain or shine, the show will go on! We have some incredible food wagons and a can bar too.
Music line-up
Friday - Big Tent Tributes - We are in for a treat! We have the best ABBA tribute band in the country Planet ABBA and Now that’s what a call Britpop with two local bands who won the local Battle of the Bands competition earlier this year.
Saturday - Big Tent Classics – Bring your whole family for an exciting evening of film and classical music with a live orchestra, George Anthony performing some rat pack songs to sing along with and a massive rock choir.
Sunday – Big Tent Fete - Brought to you with the help of the local school PTAs and youth organisations. There will be inflatables, food and drink stalls, craft activities, and story-telling as well as live music, including the Ampthill Town Band, and a mega Football Goal Challenge - with a very special surprise guest….you hear it here first, we will be joined by David James! With an amazing football career both on and off the pitch, his rebooted campaign fits in perfectly with our ECO and Sustainability theme of the event.
