Stenson team's impressive win

Our Stenson team hosted Ufford at home on Saturday June 7 and came away with a very good win in this second round match.
In the morning foursomes, Ipswich took a 3–1 lead heading into lunch, with convincing wins of 7&6, 7&6, and 6&4, along with a narrow one down loss.
Team captain Peter Brady made the strategic decision to introduce two debutants, Max Hambling and Jack Beecroft, in the afternoon singles matches. The team continued their momentum, securing 6 wins and only 2 losses in the singles, resulting in an impressive 9–3 overall victory.
The next round is away to Felixstowe Ferry on Saturday July 26th when a place in the semi finals is at stake, please come along and support the team.
