Veteran English golfer Andrew Marshall has officially secured his spot in the 2025 U.S. Senior Open after an outstanding performance in the final qualifying round conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association.

Competing at one of the premier qualifying events, Marshall carded a superb round of 69, finishing at 3-under par for the day. His consistent and composed play earned him second place outright in a strong field of competitors, clinching one of the seven coveted qualifying spots available.

Held under the umbrella of the United States Golf Association (USGA), this final qualifier drew a mix of seasoned professionals and top amateurs. Marshall, with decades of experience on the European Tour and various international circuits, showed once again that his game remains sharp on the biggest stages.

The qualifying event was topped by amateur standout Christian Raynor from Kennesaw, Georgia, who posted a stellar 67 (-5). Marshall’s 69 put him ahead of a trio tied at -2, including fellow Englishman Van Phillips and Greensboro’s Ryan Gioffre.

With this qualification, Andrew Marshall adds another highlight to his impressive career and will now turn his focus to the U.S. Senior Open Championship, one of the most prestigious events in senior golf. Fans will be eager to see how he fares among the legends of the game when the tournament tees off this summer.

Congratulations, Andrew! Dereham will be cheering you on at the U.S. Senior Open.
