On Sunday 18 May seven of our juniors took part in an 18 hole medal competition for the Junior Centenary Cup.

The course was extremely busy, so unfortunately it was a long competition with lots of pauses for the youngsters, who retained their concentration and came in with some cracking results.

Congratulations go to Harry Page who won the day with net 76. Harry was closely followed by Herbie Shaw-Clutten with net 77.

Well done to all who took part.

Following the cup entries, nine of our younger players competed in a nine hole stableford competition.

The wind was much stronger by the time they teed off and it became evident that ‘provisional’ balls came into play. Well done all of you for following instructions.

Congratulations to Ralph Neal who achieved 21 points in difficult conditions. Well done to Reggie Bull who amassed 19 points. In third place was Leo Hurren with 18 points. Well done!

Another fabulous turnout of families and friends, who walked around with our younger players, giving encouragement and support.
