Divot Party

A huge thank you to the 38 members that took part in the divot party last night. Working in 4 groups, they managed to divot all of the fairways within 2-hours. They were then rewarded with a hearty Sausage & Mash and a drink in the clubhouse. We now just need some rain to help the seed germinate! My thanks also to the greenkeepers for working late to lead the divotting.

On the theme of divotting, we now have divot boxes back in use on the par 3 tee boxes. Please can members repair their divots after playing tee shots on these holes.

Ladies EWGA Greensomes Results

32 pairs played in the Ladies EWGA Greensomes competition yesterday. Congratulations to Caroline Pilbeam and Sheila Sargeant for winning the competition with 43 points. Frances Peace and Katie Field came second with 41 points, on countback from Jenny Phillmore and Pat Fitzgerald. The full results are attached with today's latest news email.

Men's Invitation - Saturday 25th May

The closing date for entries into the Men's Invitation on Saturday 25th May, is Saturday 11th May. We would like to see a few more members entering to bring guests for this great event. The format for the day is Full English Breakfast on arrival, 4BBB competition, followed by a 2-course meal and prize giving. The cost for this is £75 per pair. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend from another club to come and enjoy our course and hospitality. You can enter via the Club V1 app, or by contacting the office.
