Dear Members,

We want to reinvigorate our adopt-a-bunker scheme though slightly differently to last time.

Each member has been assigned a bunker (see below). During your rounds of golf, we ask you to take a look at your bunker and in the spare minute or two you are bound to have please tend the bunker as follows:

Rake out irregularities
Ensure there is a slope away from bunker edges
Remove any weeds (throw them in the rough)
Leave the rake centrally and aligned with the fairway.

If every member does this it will considerably help our greenstaff to maintain the course to a better standard and especially now our bunker programme is well under way.
