Sully Darby basks in Glory
A great turnout by the junior section on Tuesday 15 April with eleven playing the 18 hole competition, followed by eleven in the 9 hole competition.
A welcome return to Rico Vettesse, who played his first match for over a year. Also, welcome to Reggie Bull, who has recently joined Gorleston Golf Club.
It was a slow start with a busy course, but we had some great results. Congratulations to Sully Darby, who won the cup with a brilliant 43 points. In second place on countback, with a terrific score of 41 points, was Addison Marsham, just ahead of Max Farman, also with a great 41 points. Well done to you all!
The nine hole competition was won on countback by Ralph Neal with a fabulous 21 points. In second place also with a superb 21 points, was Dottie Amos and in third place, also on countback, with 20 points, was Luca Waters. Congratulations and well done to all who entered.
As usual, we had a great turnout of family members, there to support our young golfers.
The standard of our young players is constantly improving along with their knowledge of etiquette and rules.
