On Saturday 18 May 2024 our Super Six Squad, led by Club Professional Duncan, played a few holes to practice the Texas Scramble format, in preparation for their first match.

The Super Six series consists of a team of six non handicap players who compete against teams from Bungay, Dunston, Halesworth and Rookery.

It was a fabulous turnout and a rewarding experience, as each eager member enjoyed being on the course, some for the first time.

On Sunday 19 May 2024, six of the squad played the first match of the season away at Rookery Park.

The weather was perfect and, with a great atmosphere, our team of Max, George, Leo H., Leo W., Oscar and Harry (pictured) played their match on the par 3 course.

All played well and our very young team excelled in their golfing abilities and golf etiquette.

The Life Skills medal for this match was awarded to Leo H. and Max, a first time player. Well done!
