Mid Wales County match

Aberdovey Golf Club were pleased to host the County match between Mid Wales and Denbighshire & Flintshire Ladies yesterday.
Both teams commented on how fantastic the course was looking and played. A true championship course!
Despite the early mist, Mid Wales got away to a good early start winning the three foursomes matches in the morning. In the afternoon, Mid Wales had two key wins in the six singles matches and had one halved match to win over all by 5.5 to 3.5.
Aberdovey Golf Club was really well represented in the Mid Wales squad, with Alex O'Brien playing a starring role, winning both her matches.
