Junior Golf Nines
Second Place for First Match of the Year
On Sunday 12 May 2024 Gorleston Golf Club hosted the first ‘Golf Nines’ competition of the season.
Teams of two, from Bungay, Diss, Dunston, Halesworth and Gorleston played a 9 hole Texas Scramble Competition. The course was in an excellent condition and all who entered enjoyed the event.
Gorleston achieved second place with a score of 67.7to Bungay who came in the winners with 67.1.
Congratulations to the pairings of Noah Richardson with Max Farman and Harrison Young with Addison Marsham. Both teams came in with 33.85, which secured our second placing.
Well done to all our participating team members which also included Gilly Woolnough with Harley Clements, Alfie Wiseman with Lennon Punter and Riley Finch with Harry Page.
A superb turn out and some smashing golf.
The next Golf Nine competition is at Rookery on Sunday 3 June 2024.
