9 HOLE GRAND PRIX
Wednesday Nights
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS!
The 9 hole grand prix is underway, every Wednesday until August 14th, the final will be played on Wednesday 21st August. Play can start at 16:00, not before.
Open to all members with an active handicap, the 9 hole grand prix is all about getting our members up to the club on a Wednesday evening to enjoy some semi-competitive golf followed by a drink in the bar and something to eat. The kitchen stays open until 9pm on a Wednesday night and the bar until 10pm
There are 3 competitions within the grand prix, each evening, the overall League, and the Finals night.
Full rules are on the notice board opposite the shop, which is also where you will find the league and weekly results once the grand prix begins.
An overview of the comp can be found below:
- All competitors MUST sign into the PSI PRIOR to teeing off.
- The cost is £2.00 which will automatically be deducted from your account on sign in.
- Open to ALL members with active handicaps
- The league runs between May 1st and August 14th
- The Competition Start Time will be 16:00. No play before this time.
- All Cards to be Signed & Posted in the Competitions Card Box after completion of play.
- The Final will be played on August 21st, following which there will be a prize giving.
- The 1st event will take place on the front 9 with the following events switching between front and back 9's
- Course Handicaps apply.
- Stableford format from the WHITE TEES for Men and RED TEES for Ladies
- 95% of Course Handicap to be used for 1st event in which a player competes. Thereafter, YOUR Event Handicap will be adjusted weekly on the basis of your score. The H&CC reserve the right to make further adjustments where they deem it to be appropriate.
