On Thursday night we had our first champagne and whisky gourmet dinner. Held in our glorious Cube Room, hosted by Pol Roger and Glenfarclas Whisky, the event was a great success. 
 
Guests were greeted on arrival with Pol Roger Champagne and tasting whiskies from Glenfarclas with canapes. This was followed by a fine dining three course meal with a selection of red and white wines and a Pol Roger dessert champagne to finish.

Now on to the winners…

Friday roll-up honours were taken by Bruce Cannon with 45 points! Many congratulations to Bruce who told the newsroom that was his best round since 1972.


Great play of the “It was a one-off” card, Bruce, but still a five shot cut!

The Sunday roll-up saw Chas Bain take gold, with a comparatively modest 38 points, from Kara Catt and Jones the Traffic.
