Ladies Daily Mail Foursomes
Debbie & Kim Win Again!
The Ladies Daily Mail Foursomes was played on Friday 12 April against a pairing from St.Austell. Both sides were very pleased to see a break in the rainy weather.
Played on a nice sunny day although there was still a stiff breeze from the South West.
The St.Austell pairing went one up on the first hole (par 3) with a nice par. The 2nd hole par 5, was halved in 6’s and the West Cornwall pair won the 3rd hole to bring the match back to level.
On the 4th hole the West Cornwall pairing went ahead and continued to dominate with some good play and holing the putts.
Good play continued and the match was won on the 12th Hole 7 & 6.
Debbie & Kim now proceed into the 3rd round of this National competition. The draw for the next round will be made on 28th April.
