Club Systems and V1 Upgrade
We are nearly There!
After quite a stressuful 7 days the upgrade is nearly complete. All owed competitions should of now been debited. This has put some members into a negative balance so they will need to top up. To check your balance open the v1 app, scroll to the bottom of the Dashboard, your balance will be displayed on the button that says Card Balance. You can click on this button, and then on the individual items which will then display an electronic receipt. This may display a description of top up correction for competition fees taken manually. Club systems are working on a fix so that we can detail what this correction is for in the future. All Comps and purchases now will be automatically debited. If you withdraw from a comp the system will automatically credit your account.
Previsouly the system was allowing members to book into a competition and go into a negative balance, this option has now been removed, and if you are currently in a negative balance or no more than £3 in your balance and you try to book into a competition the system will prevent this, you will need to top up!
To top up you can pay money over the bar (top up will be instant), pay on the zettle machine over the bar (top up will be instant), or bank transfer into the club account (this may take a few days to add to your account as the top up needs to be done manually behind the scenes). Shortly we will be setting up a new card reader through clear accept. This means the zettle machine will be redundant. You will be able to top up on your v1 app when the clear accept has been set up, the fees are slightly higher so we would prefer you topped up at the bar! But this will be useful if you forget and the system stops you from booking a comp until your balance has enough!
