Centenary Captains' Charity Day
Captains' Charity Day - 28th June
We are writing to you about Our Captains' Charity Golf day and Dinner on Friday 28th June in aid of Young Epilepsy (YE) - Please put the date in your diary.
YE is a Children's Charity which is local and the money we raise will be spent on investigating the causes of epilepsy and developing the treatments to mitigate the devastating effect that this can cause to both the children and their families.
As it's our Centenary, to celebrate this historical year, we are doings things slightly differently and will be playing golf in the afternoon followed by an early evening dinner and interactive auction. The golf will be in teams of four (best two scores to count) and will cost £125 for Members and £150 for guests.
We want to offer all our Members the opportunity to help if they can in someway. This could involve sourcing amazing prizes for a raffle, donating for us to auction some 'once in a lifetime' experiences or events, or simply registering a team of four to participate in the Charity Day. If you can't play or donate, you can simply make a financial gift to Young Epilepsy (please speak to Chris in the office).
Would you like to be one of our 'Angels' and contribute in whatever way you can to ensure the Captains' Centenary Charity Day is remembered as one of the most successful giving days in the history of Tandridge Golf Club? To enter a team please register your interest by completing the attached form. You must include complete names of entrees, guests are of course welcome but only with CDH handicaps. We only have 20 team spaces, you will be notified if you are successful,
As stated above the cost will be £125 for Members and £150 for Guests to include golf, a light lunch on arrival, three course dinner, and prizes.
