New Competition for the 2024 season
Seniors’ Individual Matchplay knockout competition
This will be a Yellow tee competition played on weekdays only.
Open to all members, 5 & 7 day and Pay & Play but all entrants must be 55 years of age on the 1st January 2024.
Usual matchplay rules will apply, 100% handicap allowance.
£5 entry fee to be posted in an envelope (clearly marked with your name and which comp) in the competition entry box in the shop by Friday 26th April after which the draw for the first round will be made.
Depending on the numbers of entries each round will probably have a four week deadline ( 20 days available ! ) so no extensions to the individual rounds will be accepted unless the course is closed for a prolonged period (entirely at the discretion of the competition committee) therefore every entrant must make genuine attempts to arrange their matches.
This is not a Major competition.
