Men's April Stableford
Saturday Stableford and Sunday roll-up played
The first Friday roll-up of 2024 was not played due to yet another bought of heavy rain falling on an already saturated course. We were open later that day and, with rain holding off, the men’s April Stableford on Saturday saw a field of just over 90 taking part.
Congratulations to David Henderson on a winning score of 37 points, from Bob Reid, Mike Hanak and Eamon Larkin coming in on 36.
Best gross was carded by Mr Ubersmooth himself, Grant Elner, with a handsome 76.
Things coming up… the annual Clash of the Chromosomes is on 21st May - it’s that time of year, when households simply stop talking to each other in the lead up to the annual Ladies vs Men match here at the Club.
So sharpen your irons and dig out your shin pads, wash off the gum shield as the sign-up sheet is now on the noticeboard in the TV Room.
