Last weekends post, after the AGM, was reasonable lengthy and there are a few other points worthy of mentioning.

At the Ladies’ AGM, Nicky Russell and Jo Heath were elected as Members of the Ladies’ Committee and Lucia Albrecht was elected as Lady Vice-captain.

Having gone a bit early last year, apparently, congratulations to Ron Lay on his appointment as Vice-Captain.

Other appointments included the re-election of Bill Carey-Evans as Chairman, Paul Brookes as Member for Premises and Mike Pearson as Member for House. Ben Priest was elected to the Board of The Richmond Golf Club.

Friday roll-up starts April 5th

The Friday Roll Up for 2024 kicks off next Friday and will run until the end of October.
 
For those new to the Club this is a truly great way to meet your fellow Members and is a fun institution held at the Club each Friday.  The format is an individual stableford competition, with 1st 2nd & 3rd place prizes each week. Competitors simply sign in at the Pro Shop before 1pm with your £5.00 entry fee, please try to bring the correct money as they are often short of change in the shop.   In addition to the weekly competition, there is an aggregate event with your four best scores from the Summer counting towards the coveted Max Mason Cup, along with a tidy sum of money
