Danny Willett entertains a packed clubhouse
2016 US Masters winner in revealing insight into his illustrious career
Augusta Masters Champion Danny Willett gave an insight into his golfing career at Scarborough South Cliff Golf Club on 10th February. He entertained a packed audience with his tales of life on the tour from starting golf at the age of 10 and rising to World No. 1 Amateur, to his major win in 2016 at the Masters Championship.

During a question and answer session he entertained the audience with such items as the Masters Dinner, LIV golf, his idol Tiger Woods, Lee Westwood, the hostility of the Ryder Cup and his dream fourball who would be Sam Snead, Ben Hogan and Jack Nicklaus.

He is associated with Rotherham Golf Club where his parking spot is labelled ‘Masters Champion 2016’.

It was an electrifying night with Andy Couzens, ex-Leeds United football player, comparing the evening and acting as auctioneer for the various golfing legends memorabilia. Many of the audience had their photograph taken and took away a signed portrait with Danny.

At present Danny is recovering from a shoulder injury but hopes to be fit in time for the Masters in April.
