Slow Play Issues
Please read about the recent slow play issues
Over the past few weeks there have been continual complaints about the speed of play especially at weekends. Please read the clubs document on slow play here

Please note at the weekends the shop staff have been asked to be extra vigilant on the start and finish time of golfers and after the roll ups have gone out onto the the course, they have been asked to go around the course to see if there are any hold ups and deal with them where necessary. Please keep up with the group in front and if you are to lose ground, please do what you can to catch up or allow the groups behind through.

Conversely, It is also fair to say winter golf can be slower than summer golf, looking back over the slow play complaints they always arsie around end October/November, this is due to:
Extra looking for balls in leaves
Slower walking speed in soft conditions
Ball not going as far so more full shots being hit.
Ropes out making the walks longer for those with trollies.
Winter league and knockout matches being played

Please note these are only for understanding that a winter round of golf could take longer than during the summer, we can however all do our bit to play at the speed of the group infront.
