Congratulations to Willa Jackson & Jon Steer!
The heavens opened yesterday exactly when the 6 pairs who had entered the Upton Trophy started to play and continued for the first 9 holes. That didn’t prevent the unstoppable octogenarian pair (combined age of 169!) romping home almost in darkness with the Trophy with an excellent 41 points on a very wet course! Tony & Juliet Rhodes managed 2nd place with 38 points on countback from Judy Gowen & Dudley Deas. Many thanks to all those who took part.
