Important Safety Alert
Avoid Bunker on 9th and 17th Due to Mining Bees
It has come to our attention that a population of mining bees has established a nesting site in two of the bunkers on our golf course. Mining bees are solitary bees that create underground burrows, and while they are generally non-aggressive, their presence can be disruptive and potentially dangerous, especially if disturbed.

To ensure the safety of all our members, we strongly advise against entering the bunker located on the right hand side of the 9th green and the 17th green until further notice. Disturbing the bees can lead to stings, and for those who may be allergic, this could pose a severe health risk.

Here are some precautionary measures we recommend:

Avoidance: Please steer clear of the affected bunker until we have taken appropriate measures to address the bee situation.

Signage: We will be placing warning signs around the bunker to alert golfers about the potential presence of bees. Please respect these signs and avoid the area.

Bunker Play: If your ball lands in or near the affected bunker, please use drop zone provided.

Professional Pest Control: We have engaged a professional pest control company to assess the situation and develop a plan to safely remove the bees and relocate them to a more suitable environment.

We understand that this may cause some inconvenience during your rounds of golf, but your safety is our top priority. We will keep you updated on the progress of addressing the bee situation and the reopening of the affected bunker.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
