Hugo Brown wins the Robert E Cupp
Will Gibb (pictured right) won the Junior Club Championship today with a great round of 74 (+2) to win by 1 shot from Matthew Vearncombe (75) leader in the Club House.
Will was level par playing the last , but unfortunately took 6 to take the shine off a great round. He went out in -1 (35) with 3 birdies playing flawless golf, a bogey 6 on the par 5 , 14th checked his run of bogey free golf until the 18th almost cost him.
Hugo Brown (pictured left) won the Robert E Cupp for the nett prize with a brilliant round of 66 (-6) to win by 4 from Will Gibb.
Well played to both players who will now meet in the Junior Matchplay Final on 23rd September.
