Men's Invitation Day
Mark & Andy are off to Portugal...!
Saturday the 19th August saw a successful Men’s invitation day once again. 30 teams were battling for the 1st prize of a 2-night golfing holiday to top Portuguese resort, Vilamoura.
The standard of golf from members and their guests was extremely high, both in the morning and afternoon rounds. On top of the normal scoring, we had Nearest The Pins and Beat The Pro on the 18th – A big well done to those 5 members who did beat him!
The results for the day are below:
1st Overall – Mark Simmons & Guest – 66 points
2nd Overall – Dave Curran & Guest – 65 points
3rd Overall – Charlie Alden & Guest – 63 points
1st AM – Graham Howard & Guest – 44 points
2nd AM – Paul Anstey & Guest – 42 points
1st PM – Simon Aris & Guest – 27 points
2nd PM – Chris Spooner & Guest – 23 points
