Practice Area
Safe Usage
A reminder to all members that when using the short game practice area beyond the rope, you must only hit balls away from the club house. Do not hit balls back towards the club house.
There are a number of reasons for this
1. Obviously if there are other people on the practice area or chipping green then this would be a danger to them
(near misses have recently been reported)
2. There is chance of balls hitting cars in the overflow car park or in fact the main car park.
3. The damaged area from divots is thus concentrated in a smaller area, #for easier repair by the green staff
