This year my nominated charity is Pancreatic Cancer UK. Last year the Club lost 2 of it’s members to this horrific disease, Mrs Maggie Bingham and Mr Ron Walpole, both of whom are sorely missed. I am pleased to say that both the Club Captain, Rob Bye, and the Seniors Captain, Steve Steels, are going to add their support to this worthy cause.
As you may, or may not, know, my Great Nephew, who is 18, plays football for Leicester City U21s. He has been called onto the pitch in 2 first team matches and has also played for England U18s.
I have been donated a Leicester City shirt with his name and Premier League number on it and he has kindly signed it. Now this is where you come in!
