Mark Earley received a phone call last night from his great friend and idol , Pep , the City coach offered him advice on how to remain at the top , unlike his City rivals Utd.

Mark defeated Marcus Opoku on the 1st extra hole with a solid Par 4 after his opponent found the hazard with his approach. It could have been so different had Marcus Opoku (now at 9th) avoided a couple of careless 3-putts on the back nine.

Eric Stone emerged as top challenger as he defeated Guy Foster 3&2, Andy Mitchell remained unbeaten and heads the league with Mark Earley.

Yehia Oweiss moved up to 4th with Mark O'Hara 6th, Jack Divall 8th & Rob Macdougall back into the top 10. Former Champion. Jordi Southgate made six birdies in his round to beat Simon Blakeney and move into the top 20.
