Course Update Wednesday 23/07 Work continues across the course, to get all areas cut following the heavy rain Sunday into Monday. The rough across the back 9 is particularly thick and will take several cuts this week to manage. The bunkers are not just where Paul would like them and he asked for everyone to be informed they are working on removing the water, and will take time to rake to help the drying process. Fertilise and Iron has been spread across our Greens to help the growth and colour. They naturally blacken as footfall increases across the surface. To compensate for the look, they have been ironed this morning and are rolling well. With the darker appearance, pitch marks are harder to find, so you are asked to take extra care to find and repair your pitch marks. An increased number of divots not repaired has been noticed. Again all members are encouraged to repair divots, and continued thanks to those who lift a divot bag and use as they play! Greens
