40 players enjoyed a beautiful autumn mornings golf with the putting surfaces in excellent condition and almost half the matches going up the 18th.

Great friends Colin Oliver & Michael Gaughan battled out for the top spot, with Oliver winning the match 5 & 4 thanks to a red hot putter, making 5 putts for Birdies on the front nine from over 30ft, Gaughan responded with 3 birdies of his own, but Oliver was too hot today.

Simon Blakeney had the scalp of the day, winning his last 3 holes to beat County player Lee Drew.

There were big wins from Lee Sexton, Stirling Wakefield, Don Bennett & Marcus Opoku with Rob Thompson losing his snake game , Rob started the day in 6th and lost his match to Paul Cullen to drop to 36th.

There were only 6 x 2's paying £31.50 per 2.
