1. Contrary to the wording of the current scorecard, free relief is available from all surface drainage channels, WHETHER GRASSED OVER OR NOT. (Permanent Local Rule - PLR5)

2. A ball in the ditch at the rear of the 2nd hole or on the left of the 3rd and 4th holes is OUT OF BOUNDS. (PLR1)

3. On holes 14 and 16 you MUST NOT ENTER THE PENALTY AREAS ABOVE THE CUT LINE to play or search for your ball. (PLR2)

4. The area to the left of the 1st tee MUST NOT BE USED FOR PRACTICE PURPOSES AT ANY TIME. (PLR8)

5. The 12th hole MUST BE PLAYED AS A DOGLEG so you must not attempt to drive the green. (Temporary Local Rule - TLR)

6. Relief from TYRE MARKS is restricted to “DEEP VEHICLE TRACKS CAUSED BY COURSE MAINTENANCE VEHICLES”. (PLR5)

7. A ball not found within THREE MINUTES is, by definition, LOST so if you play such a ball you have played a WRONG BALL. (Rule Refresher – RR3/2021)

8. You MUST NOT ASSUME that your ball is in a Penalty Area just because you cannot find it elsewhere – “Possibly” or even “Probably” is not sufficient. (RR.4/2021)

9. The Reference Point for taking lateral relief from a Red Penalty Area is THE ESTIMATED POINT WHERE YOUR BALL LAST CROSSED THE EDGE OF THE PENALTY AREA and NOT where the ball comes to rest. (RR4/2021)

10. Free relief is available from all roads and paths on the course, EVEN IF NOT ARTIFICIALLY SURFACED. (PLR3)
