The gents ladder got underway today with 58 members playing on the West course on a beautiful Autumn day that was perfect for golf.
Sterling Wakefield, former Spurs striker defeated Chris Watton to remain top after round 1 making 4 birdies and eagle to see off the former England Rugby International , Chris Watton.
Former Ladder champion, Alan Ratcliffe moved into 2nd spot and a game in the top match in two weeks time.
One player to watch out for is former Latin world dance champion , Homi Falak who has salsa danced his way up into 25th spot.
