Ageless Galway wins the Sussex Veterans
Another Sussex Trophy for Galway.
The Peter Pan of Senior Golf, Martin Galway won the Sussex Veterans Championship at Piltdown GC for the first time. The East Sussex member and the current Senior Welsh Champion , defeated Welsh International, Colin Jones in a sudden death play-off.
Both Players finished the day on +6 (74) , 2 clear of defending Champion, Paul Plant who narrowly missed out on a play-off after losing a ball on the 17th hole.
The conditions were very tricky in the blustery winds.
